The chemistry summer camp will give you practical insights into studying chemistry at TU Bergakademie Freiberg. You can experiment in the new laboratories of three different institutes on Friday and Saturday (24 May and 25 May 2024).
The chemistry summer camp will give you an insight into experimenting in the chemical institutes (inorganic, organic, physical, analytical and technical chemistry) and the Institute of Biosciences. Guided tours of the physics laboratories are also offered. The experiments will take place on Friday mornings and afternoons and Saturday mornings. Afterwards, you can visit the programme and institute presentations as part of the Campus Day. Here you will receive a summary of the study programme as well as insights into the main research areas in the fields of chemistry, physics and biosciences. For further insights, the "Night of Science and Business" in the evening offers plenty of content to discover.
For the overnight stay, 24 places have been reserved in the Pi House from 24.05. to 26.05., so that you can be on site until the end of the programme. The price for the overnight stay is €15 per night. A more precise cost calculation will be made shortly - currently the cost is expected to be around €45. In total, laboratory capacities for 32 students are planned, so that individual travel and overnight stays are also possible.
