The Vice-Rectorate Education aims to create a framework for learning and teaching in which students and lecturers can find themselves. In the context of "education and teaching as a task for society as a whole", "academicism in teaching" and "internationalisation of teaching", the quality discourse between teaching staff and students should be conducted in a constructive and trusting environment.

This discourse is transparently presented and further developed through quality management in the core area of education.

The Vice-Rectorate Education is responsible for fundamental issues relating to teaching and learning as well as quality development and quality assurance in teaching and studies, among other things:

  • Certification and accreditation of degree programmes
  • Supervision of approval procedures for degree programmes
  • Feedback systems for teaching
  • Safeguarding and further development of the module database

Another important focus is the support of pioneering study success projects and the coordination and implementation of the Germany Scholarship Programme.
